Rompers in "Winter"

Hello Style Minds!

So all of us have that one piece (or pieces) of clothing that we just love and would automatically pick to wear over almost everything else. One of the downsides is sometimes we think that we can’t wear our favorite piece during specific season. Though honestly there is always a solution for that type of problem. As for myself, I have MANY go-to pieces. But one of my main favorites is my tribal print romper.

Cardigan: Plato’s Closet
Romper: Ross
Tights: Charlotte Russe
Boots: Papaya
Necklace: Forever 21

Now in all honestly, you will ALWAYS see my romper pop up at least once during any season. Usually when people think of rompers you think of Spring or Summer, but with me I see something that can be used all year round. Of course I’m not going to wear it when it’s 40 degrees or below, but when pairing it with some tights and a long sleeved cardigan I’m able to wearing it during the Fall and even in decent Winter weather. One of my favorite things about this cardigan is that I can wear it in all sorts of ways. I can wear it as a regular cardigan, as a shawl, I can make it shorter by pulling the draw strings, etc. I also love tights with the little designs, and I’m hoping I can invest in more. This outfit is every easy to put together, it’s comfortable, and it still looks stylish.

Keep an eye out! You will be seeing this romper again.

Until the next chapter!

Sweet Valentine

Hello Style Minds!

Yes yes, I know. It’s been weeks since my last post. I apologize, but I’ve been on a semi block lately. BUT!! We all know what holiday is coming up…. VALENTINE’S DAY!! Most people associate this day with just love between two people, but I would always share the love amongst my friends. I was that one girl that would make special Valentine’s cards for my friends and just give them out. Now everyone has their own taste on what they would wear on Valentine’s Day. Here’s what I would probably wear.

Flower Crown: DIY
Top: Goodwill
Skirt: Gift (Charlotte Russe)
Booties: Charlotte Russe
Watch: Gift
Bracelets: Atlanta Apparel Mart & Forever 21

As you can see, I’m more into the sweet and girly vibe of Valentine’s Day outfits. Instead of going for the typical red color I opted for soft colors. The print and color give off a fresh romantic tone, and I've always been a fan of high-lows as it’s a great way to show off your legs. I wanted to keep a simple-esk nature to this outfit so I just wore a cream colored silk top. I didn’t want to go overboard with accessories, but I still wanted to play up the outfit a little and went for a little flower crown and a minimal amount of jewerly. This look is just about showing off the sweet feminine side (for once LOL) and is pretty for those simple dates or just a day with your gals.

I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day whether it's spent with your special someone, your family, your friends, or even just yourself!!

Until the next chapter!
